I needed comfort food pretty bad last week and it resulted in this delicious creation I’ve called banana dark chocolate fruit crumble. It’s so good It will be gone before you can say crumble. But because it’s paleo friendly you don’t have to feel too guilty! The best part is how dark chocolate melts perfectly over the crispy banana chips.
INGREDIENTS
Topping:
1 cup of dried banana chips
1 cup of desiccated coconut
1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
Base:
Apples, pears and feijoas
Mixed spices
DIRECTIONS
Slice fruit thinly and lay in an oven dish.
Sprinkle mixed spices over fruit.
Melt honey and coconut oil on low heat. Once combined stir in pumpkin seeds and coconut and spread over fruit.
Place banana chips over crumble topping and sprinkle with pieces of dark chocolate.
Bake at 180 of 25-30 minutes.
Piece of advice- don’t eat the entire thing like I did!!
