These bars are the perfect pre-workout snack, the combination of banana and dark chocolate chips will give you the fuel you need to push through and smash whatever you are doing. Added bonus, these take 5 minutes to prepare and only 25 to bake…who said baking had to be hard work!
INGREDIENTS
2 mashed bananas
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1/4 cup of almond meal
1/4 cup of walnuts
1/3 cup of sunflower and chia seeds
1/4 cup of raisins
1/4 cup of cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips
1 and 1/4 cup of rolled oats
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 180 bake.
Mash bananas with a fork and mix all ingredients together in a large bowl - be warned it is going to be sticky. Be sure to mix until the ingredients are well combined.
Press mixture evenly into a lined baking tray.
Bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
Leave out to cool and slice into bar sized pieces.
